This article explains how to integrate SMARTFENSE campaigns with an LMS using SCORM packages and how to perform user linking to keep statistics synchronized between both platforms.
The LMS Integration component allows linking the SMARTFENSE platform with LMS systems such as Moodle or Cornerstone, using SCORM packages. The goal is for content statistics to be recorded both in SMARTFENSE and in the LMS, maintaining traceability on both platforms.

For the statistics to be on both platforms, user linking must be performed.
User Linking
For statistics to be correctly reflected on both platforms, it is necessary to link LMS users with SMARTFENSE users from the LMS Integration > User Linking section.
Go to the LMS Integration section, located in the SMARTFENSE sidebar.
From the User Linking option, it is possible to link users using a CSV file.

In the first column, the email of the user in SMARTFENSE.
In the second column, the user ID in the LMS.
This identifier depends on each LMS. For example, in Moodle, the username field of the user must be used.

Verify that users already exist on both platforms before performing the linking.
Test the integration with a pilot course before deploying it on a large scale.
Keep a copy of the CSV file used for user linking.
Make sure to use the correct ID required by each LMS to avoid association errors.
