The Regulation, Policies, and Procedures Management component allows you to view the degree of coverage that awareness actions provide regarding different regulations. It facilitates compliance monitoring through detailed reports by regulation and by user.
Overview
The Regulation, Policies, and Procedures Management component of SMARTFENSE allows you to manage and monitor the level of coverage generated by awareness actions in relation to internal and external regulations that the organization must consider.
Through automatic content mapping, the platform links training materials with specific clauses from various regulations, such as ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, or NIS2. This makes it possible to clearly visualize the degree of coverage achieved within the instance.
In addition, the platform allows you to create custom regulations, associate internal policies, and link them to custom content, making it easier to measure the impact of each action on regulatory compliance.
The included reports allow you to analyze coverage by user and by regulation, providing useful evidence for internal or external audits.
Report by Regulation
In the Regulatory Management > Report by Regulation section, you can view a table listing all active regulations available on the platform.
From this view:
You can access each regulation to review which clauses are covered by the platform's content.
You can consult additional information for each clause using the "i" information icon.

You can search by content name to obtain specific information related to a clause or material.
Report by User
In the Regulatory Management > Report by User section, a list of all active users within the instance is displayed.
For each user, it is possible to:
View the degree of coverage achieved with respect to each active regulation.
Click on the coverage number to see the specific actions taken by the user that contribute to that result.
| Important: 100% coverage does not mean that your organization is compliant with a certain regulation. Specifically, it means that the user has interacted with all platform content related to the regulation in question. |
Custom Regulations
In the Regulatory Management > Customized section, you can create new regulations and associate them with custom content.
To link a custom regulation with custom content:
Create new custom content or edit an existing one from the Custom Content section.
Add the regulation clause or clauses that are fully or partially covered by the content.
