This is only recommended if you have a cloud-based spam filter in your GSuite environment.
To ensure that emails are correctly delivered, you should include the IP addresses or SMARTFENSE's hostnames in the whitelist in your cloud-based spam filter.
It is recommended to wait an hour after each change so that they are propagated to all users and then schedule a test campaign for a few users to verify that the whitelist is correctly configured.
Step 1
Log in to https://admin.google.com and choose Apps.
Step 2
Choose Google Workspace.
Step 3
Choose Gmail.
Step 4
Choose Compliance.
Step 5
Place the mouse on the Content Compliance option and click Configure.
Step 6
Configure the Content Compliance section using the settings below:
1. Check the Inbound and Internal - receiving option in Email messages to affect.
2. Add an expression to expressions that describe the content you want to search for in each message with the following options:
- Select the If ANY of the following match the message option.
- Select the Advanced content match option.
- Select Full Headers in the Location field.
- Select Contains text in the Match type field.
- Enter the text X-PHISHINGSIMULATION:* in the field Content, where * is the header located in Settings > Whitelist within your SMARTFENSE platform, for example:
- Click the Save button.
3. Select the Bypass spam filter for this message under Spam in If the above expressions match, do the following. This is what your end screen would look like:
