The differences between Audit and Reports are due to both sections counting user interactions differently.
Reason for the behavior
On the platform, the Audit and Reports sections use different criteria to count user actions.
In Audit > Assigned actions > Campaigns, selecting the Component (for example Interactive Modules) to review in the "Past events" column. "Overview" section of the new window.
All interactions performed are recorded all interactions performed
Each action is counted individually
For example:
If a user starts content 9 times, 9 starts will be recorded
Behavior in Reports
In the Reports > Campaigns section, reviewing the desired component:
The charts count a single action per user
It is considered whether the user performed the action, regardless of how many times
For example:
If a user starts content multiple times, it will count as 1 start
Why do these differences exist?
This is because:
Audit is focused on event details
Reports is focused on consolidated metrics per user
For this reason, it is normal for the values not to match between both sections.
Considerations
This is not a platform error
Both views are correct but serve different purposes
Differences are expected in content with multiple interactions
💡 Best practices
Use Audit for detailed behavior analysis
Use Reports for general analysis and decision making
Consider this difference when comparing metrics
