Campaigns with random sending distribute the sending of emails at different times of the day and within a defined date range.
When does the campaign start?
The campaign:
- Starts from 09:00 AM on the start day
- Sendings take place between 09:00 AM and 6:00 PM
However:
- Not all users receive the email at the start
- Sendings are distributed progressively
How does random sending work?
In this type of campaign, emails:
- Are distributed between 09:00 AM and 6:00 PM
- Are sent in 5 batches
- Are assigned randomly among users
Additionally:
- Sendings take place within the first half of the date range (between the start date and the expiration date)
How are the sendings distributed?
The way sendings are distributed depends on the user volume:
- Low volume: the assignment is completely random within the defined schedule
- High volume: the platform automatically applies a uniform distribution, spacing sendings throughout the day
This helps avoid concentrations of sendings when the number of recipients is high.
Can simultaneous sendings occur?
Yes, especially when the user volume is low:
- Groupings of sendings can occur in close intervals
- This behavior is inherent to randomness
With high volumes, uniform distribution reduces this effect.
Can the distribution be configured?
It is not possible to manually configure:
- Intervals between sendings
- Level of dispersion
- Assignment by day or by user
The platform manages these aspects automatically.
Why might assignments not be visible at the start?
Although the campaign starts at 09:00 AM:
- It is possible that no emails are sent in the first batch
- Initially, 0 users sent may be displayed
Sent emails will be reflected throughout the day.
When does the campaign end?
- The campaign ends at 6:00 PM on the configured end day
- It continues collecting statistics until that date
Important considerations
- Sendings do not necessarily start exactly at 09:00 AM
- Assignment depends on the sending batches
- Each user can receive the email at different times
Important: Campaigns with random sending cannot start on the same day they are created or scheduled. It is necessary to set a future start date (for example, starting the next day). |
💡 Best practices
- Plan campaigns considering the time range (09:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
- Always set a future start date
- Extend the campaign duration to improve the distribution of sendings
- Do not assume sendings in the first batch
- Review the campaign progress throughout the day
